The Woodland Trust 100 acre bluebell wood is on the doorstep, with walking trails, babbling brook with pooh sticks bridge, wild river 'dip pool' and paddling.

The wonderful Avon Mill Garden Centre with its cafe and craft shops is about a mile down the road.

Our local Aune Valley Farm Shop with butcher, baker, local produce and award-winning Valley View Cafe (famous for its Butcher’s Breakfast and Devonshire cream teas) is a five minute drive away.

Salcombe and Dartmouth, famous with yachties, are equidistant in opposite directions and the ancient market town of Totnes, ‘Twinned with Narnia’ is three hours direct from London by rail.
The nearest town is Kingsbridge on the Salcombe Estuary,
ten minutes away.

Bantham beach is a local surfing spot with its wild dunes and soft pale sands - join the brave-hearted for the annual Christmas Morning swim!

Beaches within a 20 minute drive include Bantham, Yarmer Beach in Thurlestone and South Milton Sands. Beaches within a 30 minute drive include Hope Cove, Salcombe’s North Sands and South Sands,
Blackpool Sands, Slapton Sands and Strete Gate Beach.
